Al-irtā': a shrubby plant that ranges in height from one meter to three meters, with few leaves, and its flowers are vibrant in red and pink colors. Its original habitat is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its parts contain flavonoids, triterpenes, and tannins. Uses: - Extract of Al-irtā' stops the activity of several types of bacteria. - For treating stomach ulcers: a small spoon of Al-irtā' powder + a spoon of pomegranate peel powder are placed on low-fat yogurt, and eaten a quarter of an hour before meals for a month. - For treating irritable bowel syndrome: a small spoon each of caraway powder, Al-irtā' powder, chamomile, caraway, and half a teaspoon of mastic are added to a liter of boiling water, left for ten minutes, and then drunk. It does not conflict with: it does not conflict, as it is a safe plant.
