Nettle.. a herbaceous plant native to the Arabian Peninsula with serrated leaves, not exceeding 50 cm in height. It contains a good amount of boron mineral that can double the amount of estrogen hormone in the body. The parts used are the roots and leaves. Uses include treatment of cold, cough, whooping cough, and tuberculosis cough, where a full tablespoon of the dried plant is taken and added to a cup of boiling water, left for ten minutes, then strained. It is drunk twice in the morning and evening. -- Nettle is used for hair in the form of vinegar, by taking about 5 tablespoons of nettle powder and placing it in a container with a liter of regular vinegar, then placing it over a container with a liter of water and half a liter of vinegar, then putting it on the stove and boiling for half an hour, then stored in a closed bottle. Enough is used for scalp treatment once a day. -- Nettle is used as a diuretic, prevents and treats kidney stones. The method of preparing the drink is to take a teaspoon of the plant powder, add it to a cup of previously boiled water, leave for 10 minutes, then strain and drink. Nettle is also nutritious and tonic, stops bleeding, and is a stimulant for circulation. It also lowers blood sugar levels. -- Used to relieve severe sciatica pain through compresses, where all parts of the plant are used to make compresses applied to pain sites, and the pain disappears. -- It improves memory, helps, and raises the morale of Alzheimer's patients. The dose of nettle is a teaspoon in a cup of previously boiled water, twice a day.
